About Dave Bainbridge
Dave Bainbridge (born in Darlington) is an English guitarist and keyboard player who has played with Strawbs since 2015. With Dave Fitzgerald, Bainbridge co-founded the Christian progressive and Celtic folk-themed band Iona. From a musical family, Bainbridge began piano lessons at the age of 8 and guitar lessons from his father at 13. He went to Leeds College of Music, into one of the only courses at the time to offer studies in jazz, and popular music.
