About Datura Dream Deferred
Datura Dream Deferred was a Canadian space rock/shoegaze band from Ontario. Their lone self-released album Space, Melody, Purity is heavily influenced by bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Spacemen 3, Slowdive, Flying Saucer Attack, Galaxie 500, and Windy & Carl. Members Stu Livingstone and Pete Hall moved onto form dream pop ensemble A Northern Chorus, an outfit still indebted to the space rock and shoegaze traditions but with more pronounced folk and orchestral elements.
