"Darksphere Empire is Steve Veling’s musical salute to the lonely, often repetitious rhythms of city life. These songs represent a constant internal struggle of companionship and a nostalgic sense of loss of hope. Sitting on a city bus surounded by people, you feel like you're sitting alone on some park bench in the pouring rain at 3am in the morning, wondering if this is all life has to give. Composed using robotic software imitating life -- only the faintest signs of something real shine through in the form of guitar and voice.
