Darknote Occult Blackhestra are a Norwegian doom jazz-band. They have recorded one demo, entitled Demo(n), which is planned to be released as a very limited CD-R some time in 2014. The only true member of the group is Runar, the band leader. He plays piano on the demo. The two remaining participants, the drummer and the contrabassist, are unknown. Darknote Occult Blackhestra is meant to be a dark/doom jazz-band, but the demo is more in the vein of free improvisation.
