Darkness Surrounding is a metal band from Wuppertal (NRW), Germany that was founded in summer 2017. Their style is best described as Melodic Death Metal, mixed with influences from many other genres. During songwriting, the approach is to write melodically interesting parts combined with hard hitting riffs that get stuck in your head, because the live scenario is always in mind. After releasing two EPs in January 2019 and December 2020, the band released their third EP in December 2021
