About Dark Hand and Lamplight
Toronto-based visual artist Shary Boyle and musician Doug Paisley formed Dark Hand and Lamplight in the summer of 2006 to go on tour with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy in California in October, 2006. For the project Lamplight wrote a collection of new songs which Dark Hand used as the basis for a new series of artwork. Dark Hand then created artwork that Lamplight used as the basis for instrumental compositions and improvisations. This collaborative performance
