About Danielle Stech Homsy
Danielle Stech Homsy (also known as Rio en Medio) was born on a cold January morning in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico. As a child she quickly learned to make the most of her surroundings. She danced for mom, made costumes for pinecones and tamed a wild cat named “Outside Kitty” who became her best friend. Her mom was a flamenco dancer and would take her to rehearsals where she would watch and listen very intently and even join in sometimes.
