He writes and records all his own material, and is a strong advocate of the independent do-it-yourself attitude to music. He has written an extensive online guide to recording acoustic music, as well as founding the acoustic netlabel Prosity Records, and is also half of the anti-folk 'Lo-Fi Fun Factory
