About Damnum Animus
Damnum Animus is a one man black metal band from Waxhaw, North Carolina. The term black metal is used very widely, as the man behind the madness, Chaosweaver, has influences that span from classical composers (Tchaikovsky, Bach) to depressive/ambient music (When Mine Eyes Blacken, Burzum). The first EP, entitled "Sanity: The Lies of the Father", was received well by critics, and was even called "as cold as the northern forests" and "16 minutes of oblivion".
