
Dambert (fl. 1532–1549, first name unknown) was a Renaissance composer . No testimonies have survived about his life, his nationality is not known. He may have been French and active in Lyons during the 1530s . He was among the composers of motets and chansons whose works first appeared in Jacques Moderne 's Motetti del Fiore (1532) and in prints by Pierre Attaingnant . The four-part motet Omnis pulchritudo Domini and the chansons Secouez moy je suys toute pleumeuse , Etes vous de Clamessy ma dame and Qui est celluy have been preserved .
