Donald "D" Ray White (1927-1985) was considered the last king of the Mountain Dance, a hybrid style that displays elements of clog, tap, and flatfoot steps. After his tragic murder in 1985, his son Jesco White continues to live his father's legacy of the Appalachian Mountain tap dance.
