About Cult of Slaves
Cult of Slaves is a dark and melancholic folk noir band founded by multi- instrumentalist Jan Van Woensel in the fall of 2015, in Antwerp, Belgium. After a period of one year of writing songs in solitude, Cult of Slaves welcomed convert Geert Verschueren as a permanent member in the winter of 2016 to appear on background vocals, guitar, bass guitar, and organ. Jan Van Woensel remains the leading force of the band writing all songs and lyrics. He plays guitar(s), drums, and percussion.
