There are multiple bands who have performed under the name Critical Beatdown: 1) Critical Beatdown was a hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois, USA active in the early 1990s. 2) Critical Beatdown is a band formed by Ashley Foster, Robert Lyon and Hugh Noble in Oxford in 2007. They don't sound like the Ultramagnetic MCs. They self-released one EP before scattering to Norfolk, Brixton and Farnham, but still play together sometimes.
