In the early 90s in northern Ontario, kids were inspired by the alternative, grunge, and punk rock movements to form bands, record their own albums, form small labels, and put on local punk rock shows. Bands and local punk rock fans from all across northern Ontario (Kirkland, New Liskeard, Sudbury, North Bay) would play or attend each others shows. Cragmatic Pope was one of those bands.
