Courtney Askey is a singer songwriter hailing from the city of Leicester. She has been prolifically writing and recording material since the tender age of fifteen and started playing live in her hometown at sixteen. Bucking the trend of the archetypal acoustic troubadour’s traditional subjects of love and loss, Courtney writes in her own words, songs about, ‘Going for coffee and doing nothing’.
