About Convair
J Foster has been happily making music in obscurity for over two decades. Convair has been in existence since 2006. As a concept it was born in a shack in western NY after several experiments involving the recording of guitar feedback and a rainstorm; the feedback recordings worked, the rainstorm recordings did not. It has progressed from there as an exercise in guitar manipulation. Most of the sounds you hear in a Convair song are guitar-based and augmented with the minimal use of synthesized drums and bass.
