Controlled Folly is Nolan Luijten (aka Nolan Shmolan), a drummer, producer and DJ based in London. Nolan has a diverse musical background, having been involved as a drummer in various metal and psychedelic rock/blues bands, before embarking on his journey of producing electronic music. All in all he has been making music in some form or another for the last 8 years, focusing on producing psychedelic and progressive trance, as well as chill out and experimental electronica since around 2005.
