About Contingence
CONTINGENCE was formed back in 1990 by Deprogrammed Productions' Otto Cate (keyboards, vocals, samples, FX) and Alex Seminara (keyboards, synth, sampling, FX), who write and perform all of the group's material with guitarist Johnny B. and drummer Johnny O. The project was put on hold in the Spring of 1993 while Otto and Alex went on tour with Rorschach Test, a seminal industrial band on the Seattle underground music scene. This is when the working relationship started with Johnny.
