About Congomoto
Congomoto is a ska and rocksteady music group from the commuter belt of Hamburg. Founded in 2004 in the idyllic Bargteheide, they started their career doing music "just for fun". As one of their first songs goes in classic understatement: "we are no heroes, we are no stars" (a reference to the german group "Wir sind Helden", i.e. "we are heroes"). It's members individual musical tastes - dancehall, punk style distorted guitar riffs and jazzy soli - melted to a mixture of different genres
