Shannon McQueen is the artist behind Commuter Computer. Shannon utilises an electronic drum kit as both his writing and live performance tool. The electronic drum kit allows him to effectively play any type of drum sample as well as synthesizers, video samples and lighting rigs. Shannon is inspired by music of all genres but has his performance roots strongly in the electronic genre - crossing into breakbeat, techno, dub-step, dance, house, psy-trance and pop.
