Commercial Breakup was a German band featuring vocalist Elke Brauweiler and Vredeber Albrecht. Vredus and Elke B. recorded their first track 'Little Bear' for the compilation 'Spielkreis 01' in 1996. The bandname is taken from the Thomas Dolby song of the same name - Commercial Breakup. Their cover of New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle“ sold several ten-thousands and remained for 8 weeks in the German single-charts.
