About Collapse of the State
Collapse of the State started in 2006 with guitarist/singer/songwriter David Smith. However, he has not been alone in this creative undertaking. He moved from Oklahoma to Tennessee in 2001 to pursue a college degree. In a town outside of Nashville, he encountered a few individuals looking for a vocalist. This creative outlet would shape and develop his musicianship. In 2003, working as a full-time recording engineer in Nashville,TN he met Allen Morgan.
