While the terminology might appear off with their brand of sonic violence, being made up of current and former members of Made Out of Babies, Unsane, Red Sparowes, Glassing, and Dining With Dogs amongst a multitude of others, Cold Wives can easily be characterised as a supergroup. Even though the résumés of the artists involved speak for themselves – with familiar nuances and tones being aplenty – Cold Wives are carving their own musical path, with the new album being nothing short of a testament to that fact.
