Cody Luke Winters is a singer-songwriter. Born in California and grown in Louisiana, he began composing music at 5 years old and started writing J-Rock music in 2004 after being influenced by Japanese Rock artists. He is now based in Japan and USA. He had the moniker Semi from 2004-2011 and Melonote from 2011 to 2018. In late 2018 he began performing under his real name. Cody's biggest influences include the pillows, Bump of Chicken, The Beatles, Britpop, classic American pop.
