There are at least two bands with the name Coalmine Canary: 1. Mathcore band from the Netherlands (?-present) 2. Lo-fi folk band from MA, United States (2008-2010) 1. "Migraine-inducing noise for (and by) people who need to go see a therapist." 2. One year ago, Coalmine Canary began recording noisy lo-fi folk songs in a Lowell, Massachusetts living room. Two EPs, one single, three line-up changes, a house robbery, and thirty-one shows later we are celebrating our first anniversary.
