About Clara Latham

Clara Hunter Latham brings an eclectic and decidedly interdisciplinary approach to composition, performance, and scholarship about sound, music, and culture. She received a Ph.D. in music from New York University in 2015. She also holds a Bachelors degree in music composition from Oberlin Conservatory. Her research interests include voice, gender and sexuality, the history of psychoanalysis, and popular and contemporary musics of the 20th and 21st centuries.
