About CJ Burken
CJ Burken is the end result of a rich and diverse musical upbringing that started with his mother who introduced him to jazz, classical, latin and world music at an early age. While in college in Miami Beach, Florida in 1988 he got his masters degree in computer science and sociology. He also got something else: one of those unshakeable diseases that would change his life for ever. The thriving and nascent underground club scene of miami beach of the late 80's
