City Lights Bloom was formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 2009 and currently has a line up consisting of Chad Harris (guitar), Brandon Highfill (guitar), Jason Wells (bass), Jeremy Hereford (Drums), Sarah Mayo (utility percussion), Kathleen Reichard (utility percussion). The band also has various other musicians, from violinists to cellists, to help them achieve their rich, layered post-rock sound.The influence of the Texas band "Explosions in the Sky" is quite apparent, however the band have also been known to be compared to "Mogwai.
