Christopher Johnston was born in Wolverhampton on 15th March 1981. His very early musical influences were Brother Beyond, Cliff Richard and The Bee Gees and it was watching these that made him want to be a musician. Although he had had some guitar lessons as a child, Chris mostly taught himself guitar while at high school and soon began writing songs, largely influenced by The Beatles and their solo careers. He started recording his own compositions at home and began performing them at college where he also learnt bass guitar.
