About Christopher Black
Christopher Black, singer/songwriter, combines folk and rock elements similar to those of Bob Dylan, the Swell Season, and Van Morrison to create what he calls chamber folk. He draws on an extensive classical music background to create a wider palette of sounds with his ensemble, which has recently relocated to New York City. In the summer of 2010, Black released his first EP, Live in Harkness, a brief 5-track glimpse into the work he's been doing at shows with his band. It is available for purchase online at Bandcamp.
