
Christine Tobin (born in Dublin on 7 January 1963) is an Irish vocalist and composer who has been part of the London jazz and improvising scene since the second half of the 1980s. Tobin won Best Vocalist in the 2008 BBC Jazz Awards, British Composer Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Composition BASCA in 2012, and Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2014. In the 1990s she was a member of Lammas and, in 2010, released an album as Christine Tobin And Liam Noble with pianist Liam Noble.
