About Chrissie Quayle

Chrissie Quayle is a British folk artist, active in the 1970s. Moving to Cornwall as a teenager, by 1968 Quayle had set up a folk club that ran every Friday night in a barn adjoining the Gurnard’s Head Hotel in Zennor. Around 1969 she performed with Temple Creatures, a band formed by Clive Palmer after leaving the Famous Jug Band. In 1971 she co-formed the folk band Daylight with Mike Silver and Steve Hayton.
