About Chris Greco
Greco was trained as a composer and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, clarinet, flute) in Los Angeles, and was a significant contributor to the jazz culture of Los Angeles in the 80's and 90's. (http://www.erjn.it/greco) He worked in a variety of groups and explored different formats; quartet, quintet, trio, duo, large ensemble, and recorded three releases on the independent label GWSFourwinds. The three releases represent Greco's broad view of jazz, and the subsequent directions he explored.
