About Choir of Our Lady of Lourdes
The choir of Our lady of Lourdes parish, Philadelphia owes it's modern origins to the combined efforts of Dr.Timothy McDonnell and the pastor, Fr.James W. Mayer to provide a choir worthy of liturgical services in continuity with Catholic tradition. Now under the direction of Mr. Mark Bradford, the choir regularly performs sacred music ranging from Gregorian chant at weekly Sunday masses to mass settings of Mozart, Haydn, Palestrina, Victoria and other well known composers. The choir is supported by a 45 rank organ in the English style.
