About Chiitra Neogy
Chiitra Neogy, known today as Manoshi Chitra Neogy, is an Indian film maker, actress, poet and performer. She graduated from Calcutta University and the Royal Academy Of Arts in England. She has written and directed numerous award winning documentaries, including two independent films, Woman-Self and A Journey Within A Journey. Both films have won awards and citations both in the U.S and internationally. She released the album "The Perfumed Garden" in 1968.
