The Cheap Cigarettes es un grupo de garage e indie rock procedente de Barcelona. Se formó en Junio de 2010, cuando Marc (ex-guitarrista y ex-cantante de Mistake) le propuso a Joan, amigo de la infancia, crear un grupo para emular a grupos como The Strokes y White Stripes. Ambos se pusieron enseguida a buscar bajista y guitarrista solista para completar el grupo. Después de unos meses de búsqueda, contando con diferentes miembros (como su amigo Victor), Laura y Álvaro se unieron a la banda.
