About Charlie Nederpelt
Charlie Nederpelt (The Hague, August 25th 1920 - Ankeveen, November 8th 1987 ) was a Dutch jazz-pianist, bandleader and arranger. He joined The Ramblers jazz band in 1954 and then led the VARA Dansorkest big band which was made up of members of The Ramblers. He played with a number of notable musicians including Andre Eschauzier and Hans van Assenderp. His other jazz bands included the Charlie Nederpelt Combo and the Strijkorkest Charlie Nederpelt.
