About Charlie Feathers
Charles Arthur Feathers (12 June 1932 – 29 August 1998) was an American musician associated with the rockabilly scene of the 1950s. Although he did not achieve major recognition during the early period of his career, his work later gained increased attention, and he has been cited as an influence by various musicians. Feathers was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, United States. He began his career as a session musician at Sun Studio, where he played a variety of instruments while seeking opportunities to record his own material.
