Charles Delusse (c.1720 - after 1774) was an important figure of mid-18th century flute history in Paris. In 1760/61 he published L'art de la flute traversiere, an elaborated treatise with novel ideas like harmonics, quarter tones, and tonguing technics unknown before. His op.1 sonatas of 1751 already carry most of these features.
