
Charles Blackwell is a British pianist, composer, music director and producer, born 1940. Musical director and arranger at the age of 19, he was one of the most in-demand arrangers in England during the 1960s and also responsible for the complex and sophisticated arrangements of Burt Bacharach' film scores for films as "What's New Pussycat?" and "After The Fox". His arrangements include hits as "Johnny Remember Me" and "Tribute To Buddy Holly". Other members of his orchestra were Big Jim Sullivan and Bobby Graham.
