About Chamber of Sorrows
Chamber of Sorrows represents the vision and emotions of one man, John Shamus Gaffney. (click here for more info on John) The project was conceived in late 2003 as a means for John to put out his music without having to cater to the needs of other musicians who did not understand his vision. Using only the string bass, voice, piano and guitar what resulted is a sound that is very unique, emotional and moving. Often described as Neo-Classical Orchestral Darkness, one genre or label can not do the sound of Chamber of Sorrows justice.
