About Celso Salim
Celso started playing guitar at the age of 6. At 12, with Berklee graduate music teacher Eduardo Brito, he heard blues for the first time and, since then, never stopped playing it. At the age of 15 Celso was already playing professionally in bars and parties with local bands in Brasilia. In 1996, with 17 years old, Celso went to the USA where he studied at the Musicians Institute (MI), Hollywood-CA. At MI he dedicated most of his time studying country guitar with Steve Trovato.
