The son of Bosnian immigrants, Celo worked in a call center where he met fellow rapper Abdi (b. Abderrahim El Ommali on August 7, 1987) in 2008. The two started to collaborate and released a free download mixtape titled Mietwagentape in 2010. The mixtape was popular enough to attract the interest of German rapper Haftbefehl, who signed the duo to his Azzlackz label.
