About Catscans
Formerly known as We Sell Seashells - Leeds based 5-piece Catscans unexpectedly evolved in 2008 from the bindings of an 18th Century manuscript. Beginning their lives as little more than bizarre micro-organisms, data indicates that it was only by 2009 that their musical energies were succesfully consolidated into a debut EP. Months of rigorous trials saw Catscans explode into dynamic and volatile waveforms, producing sonic phrases and frequencies which were at once discrete and sublime; sonorous and dissonant; melancholic and uplifting.
