About Cassie Hamilton
Cassie is an Australian writer and performer from Awabakal Country and living on Gadigal land. Her new musical, A Transgender Woman on the Internet Crying, was a finalist for the APRA Professional Development Awards 2023 and the recipient of a creative development grant from the Hayes Theatre in 2022. She was given the opportunity to develop the work at Adelaide Cabaret Festival this year in a showing that resulted in rave reviews. She also wrote music for the 2023 Horror film, Satranic Panic.
