Cassandra "Cassie" Compton (born 19 July 1987, Enfield, London) is singer/songwriter and actress who appeared on the UK TV music talent show The X Factor. Compton finished fifth on the show in 2004, aged 17. She was mentored by Sharon Osbourne in the 16-24s category and was eliminated from the competition three weeks before the final after ending up in the bottom two. Since then Compton has been recording songs for her debut album, The Girl. Acting/TV
