
Caspar Glanner (* around 1515 ? in Radstadt ?; † before August 17, 1577 in the city of Salzburg ?) was a Salzburg court organist and composer. There is no reliable information about the origin and youth of the musician, who may have been born in Radstadt . In his old age he himself reported that he was "several vil Jar ... really involved with the art of singing" and was "used by princes and lords" . In 1556 Archbishop Michael von Kuenburg paid him 200 fl a year as a servant and organist "for the rest of his life.
