About Cartoon Tree
Cartoon Tree was founded in 17.2.1996, by Harri Huuhtanen and Jari Kangaskorte, after discovering their mutual passion for melancholic power-pop with beautiful melodies and Beatlesque harmonies. They started to write songs that followed along the lines of such pop-groups as Teenage Fanclub, Fountains of Wayne and Posies, and soon after the entire band took shape, the first single "Roller" was released under Popatak label. In 1999, the LP, Goodbye Mrs.
