About Carolyn Anona Scott
Born and brought up in Dunfermline, Scotland, Carolyn began writing songs, poetry and short stories at a very early age. As well as taking inspiration from her Scottish heritage, Carolyn's lifelong passion for the works of Robert Burns made her gravitation towards the Scottish traditional folk scene almost inevitable. Her performance of the traditional classic 'Wild Mountain Thyme' on the Royal Oak's 2008 Album The Royal Oak - Best Of Folk (Magic Park Records) received great acclaim.
