The man you all know as Carolina Torch was born “Sherman Darkoh” to Ruby and Joseph Darkoh in Wilmington North Carolina. The youngest of five siblings, one brother and three sisters, At the age of 12, what started as a hobby while joking on family and friends, was what sparked the flame for Torch as an emcee. While everyone mentions the obvious for their influences, Torch includes some of them, but also adds a few that many tend to leave out of their bios such as; ” Rakim,“ “Scarface,” ” Outkast,” and “ Heavy D.
